The high-quality ingredients in our FangGold Joint & Arthro Pro Tabs and their effects:
Ground meat meal from New Zealand green-lipped mussels (Perna canaliculus)
The effects of the ingredients in New Zealand green-lipped mussels are known worldwide. The meat of the mussel, which is dried and ground and contained in our tablets, contains the most effective ingredients. Many other green-lipped mussel products contain ground shells or a mixture of shells and mussel meat, which is far less effective.
Perna canaliculus contains a variety of active ingredients that are known for their positive effects on joints, ligaments, tendons and the musculoskeletal system. These ingredients also have an anti-inflammatory effect.
The most important ingredients include:
Glucosamine & chondroitin sulphate
Compounds of chondroitin and glucosamine are important components of joint fluid and joint cartilage. They help to protect the cartilage, promote its regeneration and lubricate the joint fluid. These compounds, known as GAGs, can be useful for strengthening bone and cartilage structures.
Chondroitin sulphate, especially in combination with glucosamine, can promote and maintain cartilage formation through chondroprotection.
Glucosamine occurs in the body in the synovial fluid of the joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles and is synthesised from glucose. Glucosamine is therefore an important building block for the musculoskeletal system.
Collagen hydrolysate
Collagen is an important component of cartilage tissue and has a positive effect on the joints and musculoskeletal system. This is particularly true in cases of osteoarthritis and other joint complaints. It can help to relieve pain, improve mobility and promote cartilage regeneration.
Sodium hyaluronate
This salt of hyaluronic acid acts as a lubricant in joints and has anti-inflammatory properties. It improves the viscosity of joint fluid, which leads to better lubrication, shock absorption and thus improved joint function. In osteoarthritis, sodium hyaluronate can relieve pain and improve joint mobility.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)
MSM has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. It supports joint health, cartilage repair and joint flexibility by supplying sulphur, an important component for the formation of collagen and glucosamine.
Tricalcium phosphate (TCP)
TCP supports joint cartilage regeneration. As a component of dietary supplements, TCP can contribute to bone health by providing a source of calcium and phosphate, which are important for bone formation and maintenance.
Algae lime, spirulina algae & seaweed
Algae lime is extracted from seaweed and is a natural source of calcium and other mineral nutrients that are essential for bone and joint health. Its high calcium content helps maintain strong bones and joints. Other ingredients, such as alginates, may have anti-inflammatory properties and reduce oxidative stress, which can be beneficial for arthritis problems.
Spirulina algae are believed to have a positive effect on joints due to their anti-inflammatory properties and rich nutrient content. Spirulina can help support joint function, build and maintain muscle, and strengthen tendons and ligaments.
The seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, also known as knotted wrack, is often used for joint problems. It contains important minerals such as calcium, magnesium and manganese, which support bone metabolism. The algae are also said to have anti-inflammatory effects, which are helpful for joint pain and osteoarthritis.
Inulin & FOS (fructooligosaccharides)
indirectly support joint health by improving the absorption of calcium and magnesium. The minerals calcium and magnesium are important for strong bones and essential for bone health. They can also help prevent osteoporosis.
Devil's claw (Harpagophytum)
The active ingredients in devil's claw can provide relief from joint pain, especially in connection with osteoarthritis. The extract of the plant has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, can improve mobility and reduce the need for synthetic painkillers.
The plant can be used for various types of musculoskeletal pain, joint pain and muscle stiffness. It can be used for both acute and chronic complaints.
Devil's claw also has a positive effect on loss of appetite and digestive problems.
Willow bark
Salix is used for joint pain due to its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. Willow bark extract can provide very good relief, especially for osteoarthritis. Its effect is based on salicin, which is converted into salicylic acid in the body, which has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
Field horsetail
Equisetum arvense is believed in naturopathy to have a positive effect on joints, especially in cases of osteoarthritis and gout. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and supports the remineralisation of bones, cartilage and joints.
Turmeric
In particular, the ingredient curcumin is believed in naturopathy to have an anti-inflammatory effect on joint problems such as arthritis and arthrosis. By reducing inflammation and pain, it can help improve joint mobility.
Ginger
Ginger contains bioactive substances that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. These ingredients can help reduce inflammation in the joints and relieve pain.
Ginger can have a soothing effect on joint pain, especially osteoarthritis, and supports improved mobility.
Frankincense
Frankincense is traditionally believed to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects on joint problems such as osteoarthritis. It has a positive effect on the joints and musculoskeletal system, as frankincense acid can reduce inflammation by suppressing the production of pro-inflammatory messenger substances.
Birch leaves
Birch leaves are traditionally used for joint pain and rheumatic complaints, as they can have a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect. The flavonoids they contain promote the excretion of water and metabolic products, which has a positive effect on joints and connective tissue.
Dandelion
Dandelion helps with joint problems thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to support the metabolism. The triterpenes it contains, such as taraxasterol and beta-amyrin, can help to relieve joint inflammation and rheumatic complaints. Dandelion leaves are rich in minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and zinc, which also help to strengthen bones and joints.
Nettle leaves
Nettle leaves have a positive effect on joint pain and rheumatic diseases as they contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant substances that can relieve pain and improve joint mobility.
Liquorice root
The glycyrrhizic acid contained in liquorice root has been attributed with anti-inflammatory properties since ancient times, which can have a positive effect on joints. This is particularly true for arthritis and rheumatic complaints.
Garcinia cambogia fruit powder
Tamarind contains, among other things, organic acids, benzophenones and xanthones, which have anti-inflammatory properties. These and other natural ingredients have an antioxidant effect on the dog's body. They promote joint function and collagen metabolism, and their antioxidant substances help protect the joint mechanism from wear and tear.
Magnesium gluconate
The magnesium salt of gluconic acid can have a positive effect on joint health, as magnesium is an important component of bones and cartilage and contributes to joint stability. Magnesium can reduce inflammation and also relieve muscle cramps, which can cause joint discomfort.
Silicea (diatomaceous earth)
Silica is said to have a supportive effect on joint problems, especially osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint diseases. It is believed that silicon, which is contained in silica, plays a role in the formation and regeneration of cartilage and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Maltodextrin
Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate that is mainly used as an energy source in sports because it is quickly absorbed by the body and raises blood sugar levels. This rapid energy supply can indirectly support performance during physical exertion, which in turn can relieve the joints, as good muscles stabilise the joints.
