Information about rockrose (Cistus incanus) – a miracle of nature:
The white to pink-red flowering rockrose with its fireproof root system has been known in southern countries, including France, Italy and North Africa, since ancient times. In this country, the plant with its natural active ingredients, which are also said to have a healing effect, has only been rediscovered in recent years. In 1999, rockrose was named European medicinal plant of the year.

Cistus is an edible plant that contains a very high proportion of polyphenols. Polyphenols belong to a group of secondary plant substances that are of great importance to humans and animals. They ensure that viruses cannot multiply uncontrollably in the organism and curb infections. In addition, the polyphenols in rockrose are said to have the ability to bind heavy metals and eliminate them. This prevents the heavy metals from being absorbed into the body and damaging body cells.

Cistus incanus has a very broad spectrum of action. This primarily includes combating viruses, bacteria and fungi. It stabilises the cardiovascular system and strengthens the immune system, has a detoxifying, expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect and slows down skin ageing. Administration time and duration:
FangGold Cistus ticktabs are administered continuously, daily throughout the season (approx. March to November).
The effect usually sets in after approx. 5 days. However, in some dogs it takes up to 20 days for the cistus tick tabs to reach their full effect.

Expert tip:
FangGold Cistus ticktabs can be administered separately like a treat or mixed into the daily feed ration.
